Module manager
In this chapter only the features of the module manager will be discussed.
Detailed instructions You will find on the included modules in the corresponding
chapters.
Introduction
The module manager functions are:
- Managing the various modules. The module manager is the 'door' to the installed modules. In the modules various functions can be performed, for example, deleting entries in the guestbook, moving old news to the archive, managing pupils personal pages, etc. These functions are discussed in the separate module chapters.
- Modifying the language of the module names and the corresponding program names.
LANGUAGE MODIFICATIONS
When you click on the module manager icon
,you see:

Explanation:
- Installed modules: Here you find the names of the installed modules.
NOTICE: Installed does NOT mean: installed on a page on the site. You have to add the functions of a module to a page on the site. Only then the functions of a module are available and there is someting to manage.
- Module icon: The icon indicating a module.
- [Edit]: Here you can edit the name of the module. This is useful when you want to adapt a module name to your language.
- Module name: By clicking on the name you enter the module and you can manage the module. See the respective module manuals for further explanation.
When you click on [Edit], you see:

Explanation:
- Module name: Here you can give the proper name for the module in your language.
- Program name: Here you give the program name it's name in your language.
The module name corresponds with the names of the module on the left side of
the module browser [1] and the program name corresponds with the right side of the module browser [2]:

You can find the module browser by going: Page manager > Page name > New page > Browse.
MODULE MANAGEMENT
When you click on one of the module names in the module browser, you enter the corresponding module. We will not discuss the various modules here . See the respective chapters for detailed instructions on how to install modules and how to manage them.
