The File List shows the contents of the currently selected folder or folders.

Using the File List you can quickly locate the files you are looking for. Simply double click
on any file to view it.

From any of the list views, you can select files, and perform file operations. You may sort files in several different ways to control how files are listed.
Changing List Views
You can rotate through the four list views by clicking the List Views button on the toolbar. You can also access these options from the Listing Menu, or by right clicking in the File List. |
Available List Views
Windows Style (default)

The Windows Style display will be familiar to Windows users. The File List
appears much like files in Windows Explorer or under My Computer. However, the file icons
are replaced by thumbnails in The size of the thumbnails used here can be configured. For more information, see thumbnail documentation. |
Details View
The Details View gives you a list of files with any available information. The information is displayed in a list / table format for easy viewing. |
You can sort the list by any category by clicking on the header for that category. In addition, you can configure which categories of information are visible by right clicking on the column headers.
Tile Thumbnails

The Tile Thumbnails list view will be familiar to users of earlier versions of Like the Windows Syle view, the size of the thumbnails used here can be configured. For more information, see thumbnail documentation. |
Icon Thumbnails

The Icon Thumbnails view is similar to the Tile Thumbnails view except for size. |
The Icon Thumbnails are about one quarter the size of the large thumbnails, allowing you to fit more files on your screen at once. The Icon Thumbnails view also displays the size of the file in bytes.
File Listing
The File Listing displays file information without a thumbnail. In this list view, you can fit more files on your screen than with any other view. |
In this view you are given the file name and size (in bytes).
File List Contents The File List contains anything that exists in the current folder. The current folder is whatever you have selected in the Folder List. This may include files and other folders.
At the top the File List, you will see several icons (or tiles with icons) which represent folders. In the Windows Style view, these will appear as folders. In other views, these will be differently colored tiles with a folder icon inside them.
Double clicking on a folder in the File List will open that folder.
There is one 'special' folder in the File List...marked parent. Clicking on this folder will take you up one level (to the next higher folder or drive). |
