If you want to honour mined maintenance effort, however,
you are welcome to spend a small amount using one of the options

Then, after donation, download the free source archive.
Download RPM package
For the openSUSE Linux package,
browse the
openSUSE software archive,
go into the subdirectories for your release, then architecture (or src)
and look for the mined RPM package.
Download PC binaries (still release 2000.13.2)
- MSDOS binary
(compiled with djgpp)
- Runs in Windows DOS box (with long filename support) or on plain DOS.
- Windows binary
(compiled with cygwin)
- Runs in Windows DOS box or Windows xterm.
- The archive includes the cygwin1.dll library from
cygwin so cygwin
mined can be used even without an installed cygwin system.
The included version is 1.5.22 patched to fix
bug # 514 again.
(If you want to obtain the sources, get the
cygwin1.dll source package and the
patch for bug # 514.)
Install or download Debian package
On a Debian system, type apt-get install mined
.
Or find a recent Debian package on the Debian mined page in the
new release area, or the
testing area,
or the
stable area.
For the newest version, build and install mined from the source archive.
Install FreeBSD package
On a FreeBSD system, type pkg_add -r mined
to fetch and install the
binary package.
For the newest version, build and install mined from the source archive.
Download NetBSD package
Find a recent NetBSD package on the
NetBSD mined page
.
For the newest version, build and install mined from the source archive.
Install Cygwin package
Run the cygwin setup program.
In the "Select Packages" menu, open the "Editors" category and select
the mined package.
